Apparently no-one really thought about what they were doing when they set about making this movie-

The tone is too campy, they're not happy with the work from director Michel Gondry and Seth Rogen does not look the part.

Wouldn't the data get instantly sent to somewhere else as soon as the picture was taken though? I mean, what, does it just print out polaroids inside the box, and then some guy comes round at night and collects them?

I love the Green Hornet. I listened to a lot of old radio programs when I was really young, because my parents evidently set out to raise a chronologically-dispaced weirdo, and most of the tapes I had were the Green Hornet, The Shadow, and Sherlock Holmes. As a kid I loved The Shadow a little more than Green Hornet because I really liked Margo.

But seriously, listen to how awesome this show was.

Anyway. I'm going to see the hell out of this movie and, I hope, enjoy it. Although I'd prefer it set in the '40s. I hope it is good.

I don't know what to make of that article already bashing Green Hornet when there hasn't even been screenings yet. I enjoy Gondry and I even liked Be Kind Rewind... so I'm sure I'll find something to like from this one.

The Green Hornet show had like those two crossovers with the Batman series, but it never quite meshed because it wasn't nearly as campy as Batman; the tones were still very different, though the shows were created by the same guy (I think). But with GH they managed to avoid the campiness.
