I just watched the trailer on the big screen and yeah I got a definite RDJ vibe from Seth Rogan's character
Seth Rogan is unfortunately no Robert Downey Jr.
I remain cautiously optimistic about this movie

my only exposure to the Green Hornet so far is really just watching a couple of Bruce Less YouTube videos and the Kato masks in Kill Bill

Cameron Diaz can be a fine actress. And she has a good look for romantic comedies. But in this film she does not fit, even though she has done action films before she does not fit. It would be like "released next summer, a romantic comedy starring Ben Stiller as a happy go lucky rebel who hates commitment, and Michelle Rodriguez as the girl who stole his heart."

I'd constantly be expecting her to pull out a SMG and start shooting up terrorists driving sports cars.
