Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!
I am having a problem with my computer. (I am posting from my wife's computer.) I use a wireless modem, plugged into one of my computer's USB ports. Yesterday, I could not connect. Opening the little control window deal showed the available wireless networks, including ours, and the signal strength. It indicated some kind of breakdown between the computer and the internet.
The diagram showed the computer, the router and the internet. Instead of the normal green lines between those icons, they were all red.
I tried switching modems with my wife, same thing. I tried moving the modem to a different USB port. No deal. I ran virus scan, it didn't turn up anything. I restarted several times.
My computer is a 2002 vintage Dell desktop running Win XP Pro, the modem is a belkin, and the anti-virus I ran was Avira.
