Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!

I haven't had elephant ears in... years. But funnel cakes are lovely. I wouldn't trust them from Burger King though. ^_^

Also: re popcorn balls: I bought a popcorn ball that was molded in the shape of an ear of corn. It was so much easier to eat! and it didn't have dry bits in the middle. This is how all popcorn balls should be.

Lutefisk (lit. lyefish) is dried cod soaked in water for five to six days, then a mix of water and lye for two days. Because lye isn't exactly good for you, it is then soaked in cold water for another ten days.

the fact that there are people who consider the end result of this process "food" absolutely blows my mind
