My favourite is a girl who doesn't know that her sister is her mom (her brother told me). "Mom" is also the dad's second wife, and she grew up best friends with the girl's real mom ("sister") and used to call the dad Uncle and things like that. After he died within a week "mom" moved her girlfriend in because she's a lesbian.
But then a friend of a friend had his crazy aunt show up coaked up like a nutcase to his grandfather's funeral, his grandfather who had been murdered.
