You and me Hadji, we're the same. Only bit of romance we get in ME2 is staring at that photo of Ashley. There better be a fucking good pay off in ME3 for keeping that relationship going.
Because damn was i tempted to bang Miranda.
I too stayed loyal, and Bioware sure as hell better give me an emotionally engaging payoff!

As soon as I met Liara in ME2, I knew I was going to bang Miranda. Sorry, crazy lady, but all bets are off when you start threatening to flay people.
Anyway. Just did Mordin's loyalty on Insanity. Pardon my French, but holy ass cock, square armor piercing ammo is AWESOME. The damage output with the Revenant is downright unfair.

You have access to inferno ammo; why bother with armor piercing? I will admit the damage output is a bit better, but not that much better that it outweighs the AOE CC.
As for Liara...I just can't take her seriously when she says that. I want to pat her on the head and say "aww, isn't that cute? Little girl's acting all tough."
I was actually happier that I went with the Liara angle when I played ME2. Because, what do you know...
Liara's the one who actually finds your freaking body. Granted, she wasn't able to fix you, but at least she tried.
Oh yeah, that was totally worth schmoozing her. I can't see Kaiden or Ashley having gone out of their way to do that. Kaiden would be too fearful of disturbing the dead, and Ashley wouldn't go without the promise of getting to browbeat someone who was alive.

My Shep was wearing the full-body armor (with helmet and transparent faceplate) so all I could do was go o_O while Liara sloppy makeout'ed with the see-through faceguard.

Liara's voice really ruined it.
I know you can't change the voice
But still, going from the nerdbait shy scientists to hardcore mindflaying bitch much harder to accept with that sickeningly sweet voice.
Which is funny because her VA does a very good job in FFXIII.
Really, I think it just has to do with how drastic her character change was in the first place.
Which I guess is fitting, since someone very close to her did die, and died possibly in the process of saving her [and everyone else on the damn ship]
I guess thats actually the highpoint in her story from ME1 to ME2
Considering afterwards she found out reapers want his corpse, shadowbroker wants his corpse, and cerberus wants his corpse, and has to do shit to get his corpse

It seems nobody playtested the collision detection in ME2. I cannot count how many times I got stuck on objects, went up on things I am not supposed to and fell through floors. Always in combination with the sprint button. So frustrating. :x

I never fell through any floor (did do that in ME1 though), but I did get stuck "in the air" after climbing on an object I wasn't meant to climb up on.
The only way, annoyingly enough, is to have no-clipping mode available (and only on the PC). That being said, ME2 lets you save a lot (and most of these glitches happen out of combat, at least in my experience) so it usually isn't too damaging.

I can confirm that this can and will happen during combat as well. Usually when trying to sprint out from behind one cover to another. :x

I hate that blessed assention bug
Where you are running along, then for no reason you just begin to rise higher and higher into the air, and have to reload a previous save.
in my first ME2 playthrough I had it happen on every. single. planet. Second playthrough only minimized it because I remembered where to be god damn careful in.
This is so weird because I have never had a clipping issue with either Mass Effect 1 or 2 and I've played through both games about four times a piece. Am I just lucky or something?
And I purposely avoided any romance sidequests in ME2 so I wouldn't ruin my uber-paragon, one-woman-man shepard.

I want a proper disney style happy ending. And to punch TIM in the face.

Yes! My Shepard has earned his happy ending, he deserves a retirement, and a house with a fucking white picket fence! Also, I want to punch TIM as well, but in addition, I want to be able to flip off all the alien councilors, and then bitch slap them.

I had no issues in ME1 either.
In ME 2 its annoying if you just finished a long/difficult combat scene, or if you did lots of non-combat stuff beforehand and bam, you are stuck- ME2 I had collision issues since my first plathrough. They don't appear _that_ often, but if I would try hard enough I could reproduce these without problem (for example running "outside" of the ambassador 's office on the citadel)
The council should award Shepard a Garden World of his very own as reward for all he's done at the end of ME3.
Then Shepard will go Oh Yes, " Reward ", then shoot the Turian Councilor in the face with the Cain.
Considering the Cain's warm-up period, I'm imaging the Salarian councilor knocking the Turian on the back of the head, then the Asari pops a Lift on him to hold him steady for you.
i just killed the asari merc on Samara's mission but for some reason Shepard was holding her sniper rifle one-handed, not her pistol
it was so badass

So I started playing the Kasumi DLC.
And I almost beat it! I was fighting the airship.
And then my computer crashed.
And now it won't load the save, and the Auto save, quick save, and restart mission options are all for the Kasumi mission, which it's calling "Unknown Area."
Is there any way to get that save back, or is it gone forever?

Shit sucks bro. Sounds like it's gone. Have you gone to a prior save and tried restarting the Kasumi mission (eg, before you picked her up)?
If he has windows 7 (may work on earlier versions I dont know I am only familiar with the service on Win7)
he could find his save folder and rightclick the appropriate save and select restore previous version.
Worth a shot if his save got corrupt by the crash.
Might try reinstalling the kasumi dlc first, though.

Luck of the draw. I had a few "ascension" bugs in ME2, but only about 3 or 4 times. I had way more bugs in ME1 (and I've played through it only once all the way through), mostly getting stuck on walls, on stairs, on objects, or enemies getting stuck on those three.
Totally random.
Now, the shortcut menu bar on ME2? That was buggy. Though recently, I haven't had any problems with it, weird. And it's only on the PC version as well.
the only bug I ever encountered in ME1 was the Benezia fight, where a commando managed to launch something that bounced around and landed on me, glitching me out until I died.
Ten to one odds Turians messed up his hair, killed entire family. Still, he did get those bitching eyes, so it seems like a fair trade off. Just hope they don't make his background that of a soldier.
