That seems really wide for the height. Is that for a TE?

    Looks nice though.

There's already a Kotaku article out to capitalize on it. As Darry put it on twitter, whoever had the two hour slot in the Kotaku betting pool wins.

It's now time to start the betting pool on how far this goes and/or how long it lasts given the horse everyone loves to beat when it comes to porn; streaming MK fatalities on streams with 8 year olds in the audience and watching at home, a okay!; letting a guy sit in the audience and play on stream with a ZZ or BRZ in front of his name and/or on his shirt? No bueno. A child might find bewbs on teh internetz!

Mr. Wizard, Ponder, and/or inkblot all already said no dice for Evo from a business perspective even though they don't care, and hell Wiz even supports it, from a personal perspective. Jebaily already said no sir! for anything with a ZZ or BRZ getting mentioned by name on stream or even getting on stream during CEO. No surprises at all from tourney directors.

I doubt this goes any farther than tonight truthfully. If it does, I give it a month, at best, before Brazzers realizes that, despite the stupidly overlapping demographics of the FGC and porn viewership (hell, porn and ANY demographic) they see no events will let their player(s) on stream or be mentioned. Let alone any companies allowing them to use their games at a Brazzers run event. Capcom, using just one example, consistently tells MLG to suck a bag of dicks, Brazzers has no chance in hell of being allowed to use their games. Or any other companies games due to the PR backlash at that.

If nothing else though, great move from the PR department of Brazzers to basically say "Fuck it. Run with it as long as we can to keep our name in as much press as possible. The people who bad mouth us already watch our shit in secret anyway in some form. If nothing else maybe a few more nerds will pay for a subscription thinking this would become a real thing. We're already in one of the most hated industries in the world that is also one of the highest grossing, we can't lose anything doing this, so let it rock..."

Edit=> I now need a 'shop with the Brazzers logo over my "Adult sleepovers at the Georgia Aquarium" poster. How did I not think of this until now. And those of you who read this AND happen to look at my user pic, yes, that poster as it currently stands, is one hundred percent real.

I have no idea if it will last, but people need to chill the fuck out. It's a player sponsorship. They're not sponsoring EVO. Who gives a fuck if Joe shows up with a Brazzers t-shirt on? If he walked in wearing one with no sponsorship everyone would ignore it or laugh. He gets paid and people lose their mind?

Does a kid have to drink beer because they watch the Bud car in Nascar? No. Nor do they have to go look at porn because Joe rocks a Brazzers T. So dumb.

A strange situation but people acting like it's the end of the world are real fucking dumb.

You're doing the natural thing; being sensible about it from the standpoint of someone who doesn't have any money on the line and enjoys entertainment content. Look at it from people who have money invested in this, no matter how little they could lose. Now, as someone who even has literal pennies to lose from someone boycotting X (X being your game, company, event, whatever) act as irrational as fucking possible.

Congratulations, you're now acting like a shareholder in the entertainment industry.

I believe, but am not 100% on this, that is true. The costumes are like the Marvel alternates where the costumes are just a new costume. No alternate colors of them at all, so the player who chooses the costume first will get to use it even if both players own it and want to use it.

I couldn't find any other SF thread, so I figured I'd ask here: I picked up SSFIVAE on PC awhile back, and wanted to get back into playing but got busy with school. Any of you guys actively playing that game still? I'd prefer to get my face smashed by classy gents over random assholes if possible.

That should be the general SF and/or SF4 thread. It's been fairly vacant for a while due to people basically leaving SF4 for everything else; Marvel, Soul Calibur 5, King of Fighters XIII, a few that regularly play BlazBlu (whatever BBC:SEX is now subtitle wise, something extend). Try posting in that link though and the steam thread asking for games, you should be able to find some people still playing AE on the PC here.

Are the alternate costumes customize-able? Like I said, I'm not sure on the specifics. I never plan to buy them so I never bothered to check. If you can customize the alternates then there is no issue. If you cannot, and they run it exactly like the alternates in Marvel then whoever chooses first gets to use the costume, the other person is SOL.

I actually had a lot of fun tonight playing online co-op with a friend. We were both using matching tron/glowy colors, so that probably helped. I've also decided I'm going to stick with Nina and search for a second character. Maybe I can learn Rolento and use Nina's swap costume for maximum synergy. I feel the alts are worth it, for once. You can choose to buy the ones you care about by themselves, and they are entirely customizable.

Is there any one else besides Masume and Walt (I forgot to send an FR today, I'll get to it tomorrow.) playing this on 360?

As @fRAWRst pointed out, most of the G&T SF4 people seem like they've found their way over the SE++ fighting game thread. Regrettably, you will also find me there, but you have to take the good with the bad. Look at things holistically.

Fortunately for you, I wouldn't say much of anyone has really dropped SF4. Even people who have moved on to KOF13, SFxT, or MVC3 or whatever still play AE all the time. You can probably find someone to play any 2D fighter with you, even older games like Vampire Savior or dirty, filthy animoo games like Blazblue.

I wonder why they went with such a limited palette of colors, instead of going with a RBG/saturation kinda thing. Kinda disappointing.

make sure you practice it in 3S or KOF or some other game that doesn't have stupid input shortcuts like SF4 and SFxT so you can transfer the skill to other games

I don't recall off the top of my head though it does have the same input shortcuts as SF4 for the most part. Super Turbo won't let you get away with any tom foolery, so if you want to work on DPing from every position you can definitely give Super Turbo or ChaosHat's mom a call.

Also I think I don't like SFxT. I don't hate it, but unless I'm playing 2v2 I don't even want to touch it at all. But being a big neon colored bear probably helps its case a lot.
