Is cologne the same as perfume? Because the way women apply perfume is to spray it in the air and shimmy into it.

I'm not certain that that's "normal" but my brother and I "invented" this way of putting on our cologne and it seems to work well, usually I leave the shirt on so it absorbs some of the smell. Maybe I'm buying the wrong colognes, but mine never seem to last much more than an hour or two before they're completely undetectable.

is there scientific backing to show that your pulse affects the smell?

Found the opposite, suggesting this is a myth:

I really don't think most people's skin is so cold that the perfume isn't evaporating. Being hot and sweaty will increase most projection of perfumes, which is why there are some colognes and perfumes better suited to the winter where they aren't going to overwhelm anyone because you aren't as warm.

    Science wins.

I've only ever had compliments really on cologne smelling on me with the way I spray. My dad and a cousin of mine spray on cologne the same way and I've not noticed anything except it being good and subtle smelling.

It is when people decide to spray the stuff frequently directly on their clothes that the cologne falls into the rank category. Also I remember talking to a girl in highschool who would spray perfume DIRECTLY ON HER BUTTHOLE.

Forget idolators, what manner of god would allow the existence of such an act.?

You laugh, but guess who won the spot in the yearbook for "Most likely to have a nice smelling butthole"?
