i just recently acquired a couple of awesome PA posters, but i don't have any way of safely displaying them! or keeping them in good condition!

can anyone recommend poster frames or similar things they've personally used and liked? the less expensive the better, too.

I don't know if there is a Christmas Tree store near you, but they have decent frames ranging from 1.99 to 10.99

I've gotten a ton of great frames that just needed some cleaning (and maybe some paint) from (dirty looking) used furniture stores and Goodwills.

Hobby Lobby or Craftstown USA both have frames.

Hobby Lobby also does custom framing. However it is pricey but it looks reeeeeeeal good.

You can pick up simple frames of common sizes from Target or IKEA, dirt cheap.

I bought some frames from walmart once.

they covered the poster with protective plastic and also allowed me to hang it on the wall.

that's about all I can say about that.

The frames at Ikea are odd sizes.

They're also complete garbage when bought in the larger sizes.

I went to Michael's for a custom framing and it was over 100 dollars and it wasn't that large of a poster and I wanted it pretty simple so no giant 5 inch frames here.

Just something to keep in mind.

Michaels is where I usually go. They usually run a 50% frames sale every month or so it seems. I just bought decent poster frames for a club Nintendo set (so 3 frames around 21x27) and on sale that cost me around $70.

You can only go so cheap on them.

Also be sure to ask someone at the store about the type of mounting needed for a certain frame. Conveniently the frames are right by the custom framing section so usually the person there knows what they are talking about.
