Unistalling/Updating itunes

So I attempted to install the latest itunes update but eventually the error message comes up "Can not locate itunes.msi" I performed a search of my whole computer to locate itunes.msi. Now a google search will point you to a microsoft repair installer, which microsoft kindly no longer supports.
Also trying to uninstall itunes via the add/remove software yields the same error message.
I'm running on Windows Vista. Anyone else have to fix this recently?
