Some some friends and I joined up and agreed to go to my house that week to hangout and maybe work on the project before going to this thing my highschool was throwing
All these guys were chinese, and during class the day we were supposed to hang they were speaking chinese to one another frequently
I, being white, suburban, and generally awful at any and all languages muttered a "what?" when they started laughing amongst each other about something or other. One turned toward me and said he would "explain later"
Skip ahead 4 hours, we're at my house, waiting for the last guy to show. When he knocks the door, he has a gameboard like box in his hand, and as soon as I opened the door, he looked me in the eyes and told me
"Game on, bitch"
As it turned out, said game was Mahjong! They quickly taught me how to play the hell that is this game, which I originally compared to Go Fish much to their amusment
I lost some cash that day, but it was all around a good time
The point of this story is to explain that I haven't played this since then and with this website as training I will win my house back!
