We're fast approaching the 50 person mark. I'm going to talk to the folks at Pike Fish Fry to see whether I can negotiate a discount. Because the only thing better than fried food is cheap fried food!
I am more concerned if they can handle the large group. If they don't have advanced notice, it will be a clusterfuck in there, and we will get the worlds worst service. Have they been contacted about this at all?

I was gonna post something about this. The restaurant is more of a walk-up closet than a sit down and chill place. It is connected to the bar Neumos, and they deliver to the bar, but then the under-21s might have problems. Of course, since this is associated with the Drinking Tourny, that might not be a concern.

I got a flight change finally so I will be arriving early in the day, you can bump me up to attending.
If someone doesn't show then we can just throw in a few more dollars and eat theirs. haha.
Pub-crawlin' on a stomach overflowing with fried seafood may not be the best idea, but it is one that I wholly endorse.
Yeah I took that into consideration myself. What's wrong with some reprocessed food during spell casting at the pub-crawl? haha. Nah don't worry not my first go around with food and tasty beverages. Nothing beats some food to help soak up all those spells anyways?

I'm going to ask them how many people they cold feasibly serve as walk-ins oer the course of an hour, just to see whether we could keep this less formal...

On a side note may I suggest the Catfish to those that have never had it.
Im a huge fan of it, and if done properly it is glorious.
Theres this one place in Mississippi that deep fries their catfish in crush pork rinds, its a truck on post at Camp Shelby. Last time I was down there for three weeks and it was my supper 3 days a week.
THe bar next door will allow us to reserve some booths (hopefully) so that we have a place to sit and eat. They have a standing deal with the fish fry to allow you to order from the bar to have food from the fish fry delivered to the bar.
We can order off the regular menu, pay individually, and keep it informal. I think this is the best possible arrangement!
If you feel like doing it, letting me know what your order will be in advance would be helpful, but not at all necessary.
I love you all. Seriously, I love you guys for all the enthusiasm you have for what is, effectively, going to grab a bite of food. I may be forced to kidnap some of you and take you back to the UK with me.
