Konami is really pissing me off with this game. Which is odd, because I REALLY like the game. I just can't stand the way they've handled it.

I ran this 30 times yesterday and saw everything in the drop table except Badelaire (Alucard only sword that gets better the longer you play, topping out at 55 attack which is the same as the Golden Axe. Looks like a white Alucard sword). HERE IS WHAT I HAVE LEARNED
You can take a massive shortcut with two players by having the Player 1 side people get to the end of the trap switches with falling spike traps room. The second from last switch from the golden door will open the other golden door for the right side so that they can walk right into the second Final Guard's room and activate the elevators to the boss. It takes about 2-3 minutes to reach Astarte this way. Don't forget the beef curry before you engage.
To obliterate Astarte in Hard, equip Ancient Armor since it neuters her attacks, hit her from behind for about a second, jump over her before she turns around (or you will occasionally eat delta spark from a late jump), rinse and repeat.
Alucard should use Fist of Tulkas, Soma should use Claimh Solais, or Kaiser Knuckle and Longinus with the Mummy, Witch, or Nova Skeleton soul if you are welfare.
To dodge COME HITHER (TEMPTATION!) as the lady characters run away from her and slide when the hearts get near you. Soma can double jump and hover over her head, Alucard can mist, Jonathan can roll, danger knee, or sonic strike. Roll is the most consistent for me.
Astarte's soul/bound spell is awesome and you should use it because its SO AWESOME.

Yes. Try the hard one for level 1. I used my SF4 controller cause the thing had turbo buttons so I just could keep the right buttons pressed. Just press jump/backslide and spam your B attack. Every damage dealing hit will level up your weapons. I used one master ring and one Astral ring for best results.

Edit: I haven't gotten the DLC yet but plan to get it when I get home from work today. However, I heard that Charlotte's new spell doesn't power her up at all. Absorbing more copies of it only increases the power of Delta Spark itself, and not anything else.
The spell is pretty awesome though.

I'd expect the stages to be that much too, but Konami is proving me wrong!
