Looking for a map of Charlotte NC's neighborhoods

Ok, so I know theres sections of Charlotte that are named, like Dillworth, Up Town, South Park and so on, but I have no idea where these places are in Charlotte.

Im trying to plan out excursions to restaurants so I can apply, but Charlotte has so many restaurants and I have so little time to get around before work. So Id really like to be able to look for restaurants in the neighborhoods near me and branch out when I need to. Plus Id also just like to know where these places are when I hear people talk about them.

"Hey have you tried that new asian place up in NoDa?" Man, where the hell is NoDa? Dillworth? That sounds like another city but its inside Charlotte?

Anyway, Id really like to make some sense of this town Im trying to make a living in.

I guess if worse comes to worst I could just get a map of charlotte and painstakingly highlight the different areas after long research, but really, theres got to be a map of them somewhere.

Hmm, I'm from north of Charlotte, Cornelius, so I can't completely help you, but I can try.

I know NoDa is some kind of artistic section I believe on the north-east side of the city near Davidson Street...

South Park is probably in reference to the mall, which is a couple miles south of the city, of course.

I can't really help beyond that, I never lived in Charlotte, just outside. The best I can say is look at Google Maps a lot. Figure out a destination, and go there. Get lost a bit maybe, then ask for directions. People will give you directions based on landmarks they and their friends use, which could be useful to you.

And check out NoDa, it is a pretty cool place with lots of friendly people.

Yelp has a neighborhoods feature that will shade that area on the map when you are searching. Don't know if that would help or not.
