Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!

I'm sick of console gaming...

So it's time for a new desktop PC.

I used to be well versed in parts... videocards, mobos, processors, and other such parts. I am no longer, however. I need your help now.

Where can I go to learn about what I should get now? I don't want absolutely the best (finances), but am willing to spend up to 2000 (custom built, I can still put together my own PC) with monitor priced in (don't need anything outstanding. One decent monitor, 19" will do).

Also, what are your recommendations? Let me know, and thanks in advance.
