Oh, and...
Flaming Lips - Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots, Pt. 1
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know someone already flipped about it earlier, but this is my late reaction "fuck, yeah!!!" moment. Carry on.
P.S. I don't know how I have no emotional connection to Big Country. I'm a child of the 80's. I flipped out when I heard we were getting Huey Lewis, Tears For Fears and Def Leppard. But this... this is just an enigma for me.
EDIT: Arikado, are you gonna add the "supposed" set list to the OP, or only go with confirms?
Arikado, I thought you were going to use this link in the OP. I'm hurt. Truly.
You're muckin' with a G!
You know I wouldn't hurt you.
You got the powahhhhh.....
YEAH!
On the plus side, it did make one guy post "TBD by Rush? That's not a song."

Also, if Rock Band gets enough fans on Facebook, they will release a never before seen RB3 trailer.
If only the singer had taken his own advice.
That so needs an in game powerslide when it's sung...

The Forums are pretty insistent that it's genuine. Other artists can't necessarily be trusted but Geddy Lee knows his shit, so it's true.
So they say.

Is it supposed to be next week or the week after? I figured they were releasing stuff from their upcoming CD that comes out on the 31st, and kind of figured since that's a Tuesday, that would be when it would come out.
Though I'd really like them to do Land of Confusion.

I admit complete ignorance in what the number available right now even is.
360/PS3 - JCofDI | Steam
Everything I've seen for the last month or so says it's the 24th. Original source says 24th.
Wiki claims a bunch of different dates. It could get pushed back to next week's announcement, but I'm just going by what has been said for a while.

I need it too, but I want the MIDI converter even more. I don't like re-buying drumkit accessories.
http://www.rockband.com/music says 1818 songs are available now. Assuming 83 songs on the RB3 disc, that's 99 more songs to reach 2000 total by launch. There are 10 Tuesdays left. With 3 to 6 songs each week of late, they won't hit that "goal," but they'll be darn close.

Plus, we don't know what kind of "buy the game, get X songs free," bonus they may do.
Yes, it was only a month or so ago that they passed 1000 officially released DLC. AC/DC, Green Day, LRB, RB1, RB1, ect do not have enough combined to make up that gap.

That's really odd that they're using RBN to come up with that figure though. Granted, it's the biggest number - but only one system can reach it currently.
360/PS3 - JCofDI | Steam
I think they also count the three songs that don't export. Plus, the Wii is screwed by more than just RBN, but the five free songs they cannot get, 'track pack' titles, and all of RB1.
Better to go with the number that's legitimately true. And even for the PS3, they still have more tracks available than any other series. So it's just counting nits.
You're muckin' with a G!
Probably none considering the last bonus offer they did.
Harmonix: We're so nice, we're going to give you 20 free songs if you buy Rock Band 2!
RB Forum: Yaaaaaaaay!
Harmonix: Here you go!
RB Forum: ...These suck, give us something better!

Pretty fun on drums, too.
I can't imagine too many of the songs in RB3 are gonna be boring to play. They know that "fun" is what makes the game work.

At least, I like half of the half of the song that got put into RB.
I will probably be buying that soon
