I don't like that Auburn won the national title. I'm not focusing on that.

    The SEC won the title.

    this was my mentality exactly

Well, Oregon did exactly what I wanted them to:

    1. Play defense.
    2. Be in it to the last play
    ....and most importantly,
    3) LOSE!

Also, totally not convinced either one of these teams beats TCU or Boise...(kidding).
    Totally not kidding.

Time for Auburn fans to be completely insufferable for the next 8 months

Guess I'll just keep being a complete asshole about SEC supremacy and try to ignore it

Auburn fans aren't insufferable for the other 4 as well?

Maybe it's just because of a guy I knew in high school back in Alabama, but Bama fans are much more insufferable. Just trust me on this.

Like this guy had a watch that instead of the hours it had a year that Alabama claims a national title for.

He wore [strike]red[/strike] crimson every day.

That was one hell of an entertaining game.

I like that Oregon got a chance to tie it up but they just could have been a lot better in the red zone overall. That Auburn quarterback is pretty amazing too.

Which is what I don't get about the conference pride angle here. If UGA were in this game I would hope they get pounded 221-0, even if we were in the SEC. Maybe that's just me.

If you're in Washington, I suspect you've had less wall-to-wall Duck coverage than we got down here in Portland. Some local sports stations went to literally 72+ hour nonstop Duck coverage for the past few days. I generally turned them off for that but I'm gonna be turning them on tomorrow. Just to hear them "Welp."

I will root against UGA under any circumstances. With most teams it's like "Oh I don't like you we have a rivalry haha let's all drink together"

I've never met a Georgia fan I didn't actively hate. I know there must be some UGA fans that aren't terrible, shitty people who deserve to be summarily executed, but I haven't met any of them.

My old HS band director works with the UGA band now, so I really don't want to say anything nasty about 'em.
