Roll tide.

I like that Oregon got a chance to tie it up but they just could have been a lot better in the red zone overall. That Auburn quarterback is pretty amazing too.
Time for Auburn fans to be completely insufferable for the next 8 months
Guess I'll just keep being a complete asshole about SEC supremacy and try to ignore it
Auburn fans aren't insufferable for the other 4 as well?
Maybe it's just because of a guy I knew in high school back in Alabama, but Bama fans are much more insufferable. Just trust me on this.
Georgia fans are the worst people on earth, this is an empirical fact
As a Georgia Tech alum, there is no way I can disagree with this statement.
Which is what I don't get about the conference pride angle here. If UGA were in this game I would hope they get pounded 221-0, even if we were in the SEC. Maybe that's just me.

Alabama fans say roll tide to each other. It's a way of saying hello in fact. You don't do it to random ass people, you do it to other bama fans.
So nobody would do it to your stanky ass anyway geebs.

1. Play defense.
2. Be in it to the last play
....and most importantly,
3) LOSE!
Also, totally not convinced either one of these teams beats TCU or Boise...(kidding).
Totally not kidding.
My wishlist for Oregon was simpler.
1. LOSE!
2. LOSE!
....and most importantly,
3) LOSE!
If you're in Washington, I suspect you've had less wall-to-wall Duck coverage than we got down here in Portland. Some local sports stations went to literally 72+ hour nonstop Duck coverage for the past few days. I generally turned them off for that but I'm gonna be turning them on tomorrow. Just to hear them "Welp."

I will root against UGA under any circumstances. With most teams it's like "Oh I don't like you we have a rivalry haha let's all drink together"
I've never met a Georgia fan I didn't actively hate. I know there must be some UGA fans that aren't terrible, shitty people who deserve to be summarily executed, but I haven't met any of them.
I liked the SEC better when the Gators didn't suck.

Nick Fairly getting the defensive player of the game is a travesty though.
So dirty.

I don't think I've ever had any extended interactions with a UGA fan. Since I was out-of-state I didn't grow up with them and so all my friends from Georgia were made at Tech.
mostly because I hate when people talk about one set of teams incessantly
and yes I know they talk about them so much because they're consistently successful but I think that makes it worse because then they just keep talking about them and it never stops
it's probably just general distaste for college football, since I can't stand most big ten football teams but can tolerate or even enjoy the success of most big ten basketball teams

so, if they weren't as good you wouldn't hate them?

this was my mentality exactly
Excuse me, 1 in 6. I forgot about the Big East, but they're pretty much like a 0

Jesus Christ, Cam Newton, shut the fuck up already
The fuck? You have no idea how statistics work
Like this guy had a watch that instead of the hours it had a year that Alabama claims a national title for.
He wore [strike]red[/strike] crimson every day.
Georgia fans are the worst people on earth, this is an empirical fact
Hey, at least 'Bama fans don't brag about a QB whose dad paid for him to play at their school.
Meh.

But...Isn't GT ACC and Georgia SEC?

I edited my statement. Long and short, I would never root for UGA, even if we were in the same conference.

You have no idea how college football works.
There are 6 automatic qualifiers. If the system was more balanced and not horribly awful, I would say its a bigger achievement.

Yes well, I'm differentiating from the Oregon one.
(I know his name is Cam Newton)
...
However, I will say that the UGA Redcoats need to learn a song that is not The Battle Hymn of the Republic.
so, if they weren't as good you wouldn't hate them?
but the national championship isn't a random selection process so your statistic is meaningless
I know it
Gamecocks all the way
Its skewed to those 6 conferences.
