Overly complicated networking question

Ok, long story short, I have a PC running Vista Business, a 3G USB modem which I currently use to connect to the internet (Cricket is the provider), a Belkin USB wifi adaptor, and a PS3.
I can't really leave the house because I am recuperating from foot surgery, so just like in that scene from Apollo 13 I am limited to the materials above. I do not have an ethernet cable in the house, or I could plug it into the cable modem that is right frickin there. My roommates aren't getting back for another two to three days.
This is totally a perfect set up for a horror movie, now that I think about it.
Anyway, is it possible to use ICS to receive an internet connection from the 3G USB modem, broadcast that connection over wifi using the wifi adaptor, and then pick that signal up with my PS3? If so, how?
The 3G modem has unlimited data usage, and yes I know it will be slow, I don't plan on using it for any downloads, I just need to be able to sign in to the PSN network so I can play the downloaded version of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue.
Help me, H/A, you're my only hope for getting my GT5P on for the next couple of days.

Then set up an adhoc network for the wifi adapter:

You may have to set up static IP addresses on the wifi for the PS3 and the computer.
