A few movies make me feel that lump in my throat. And I will admit since I was sick I am more prone to tearing up. It is an after effect of everything and it actually drives me nuts.
I need to get Metroid Prime 2 for Wii so I can beat it in preparation for the 3rd one.
But I don't know if I can be arsed.

Honestly though there has to be a market for calculators that have processors whose frequencies approach triple digits. What kind of resources does MATLAB need? Make a handheld MATLAB calculator. The stagnation is terrible!

mac and the hot jesus freak screaming harassment at the people going into the abortion clinic, with him smiling charmingly at her the whole time... still one of my very favorite moments on television
what really upsets me is when i don't expect a movie to push my emotional buttons and it does
like, i went into brokeback mountain, schindler's list, and the road knowing i was going to be watching something depressing as shit (in the case of the road, i had even read the book first!)
but when a movie sucker-punches me like wall-e that is pretty not cool

Depends on what you're gonna be running through it. I've had to do calculations and left them running on the computer for a while.
Granted, at my college the computers were pretty crap, but still. It's gonna be a while before calculators get that powerful.
Just get a TI calc.

Man, if I hadn't had a meltdown in high school I could have been doing calculus before graduating and been a math wiz. Now I am doing trig in college.
I probably did some trig in the ninth grade. Jesus.

Why do those things still cost so much?
Because TI and HP are assholes.
You could drive a truck full of their stupid calculators through their respective assholes.

Motherfucking Comedy Central. Stop playing the Mafia II commercial constantly. Last night they played it twice in a row! For a total of five times in under 30 minutes! I can't get that fucking song out of my head!!
Incidentally, I was just messaged that I'll be receiving the 360 version for review. It better be good.

Is that show still around?
did it acquire a plot somewhere? actual characters? writing and story?
i think the last metroid i played was super metroid so uh
He wouldn't play catch with his dad, and he regretted it his whole life
and then he sees him back when he was full of life and promise
and they have a catch
Yesh
But I don't know if I can be arsed.
he was taking trig as a senior
not nearly in your league, SIG
abc family shows reruns sometimes.
I would probably like, show somebody an equation...

They remade the whole prime series and packaged them together for the wii.
I think it's out of print or something, but you can find it online.
Metroid Prime is amazing, and the sequels aren't half-bad.

There's a person in that catsuit?
It's such a wonderful moment. I generally don't like Kevin Costner, but put him in a movie about baseball and I'll watch it again and again.

I would embed the picture but it is huge.
But goddamn Wall-E was a good movie.
I like his Westerns too.
The story is generally pretty lame, but Prime 1 has pretty great atmosphere and stuff, and it's really fun.
It's totally different from the first metroid.
Shaped like a penis!
I love that show.

Waterworld!

let's be honest
none of us are in SIG's league
anyways, you have an excuse. you came from circumstances. and you're valiantly working to catch up!
I lean towards Bull Durham. Field of Dreams is close. For the Love of the Game is a well back third.

I hear it's bad.
I played the demo... It was bad.
He was a baseball pitcher tall and skinny with dark hair and a beaming smile
Who cares, man
there is no story in metroid beyond "samus lands on a planet, wrecks everyone's shit, leaves"
the prime series introduced a recurring foe and detailed the mythology, but the story was still very bare-bones
and while the other m is trying to go plot-heavy, it's by team ninja, so i expect the story there to be pretty dismal
it's just always been a great, atmospheric series of games that are fun to play, is all
