I wonder if there's going to be another Mass Effect 2 DLC but one that focuses on Ashley or Kaiden, whoever you spared from the first game. Shadow Broker lets you advance your romance with Liara, but what about those that didn't go with nerd bait and instead chose Space Hitler or Carth v2.00?

Lair of the Shadow Broker is the first bit of DLC that's meant to expand the story in preperation for Mass Effect 3. Does that mean the mission will only be available after the suicide mission?

If you severed ties with Cerberus at the end, it would be pretty confusing for them to then provide you info on the Shadowbroker (unless it was supposed to have happened earlier, I guess?), much like with other Cerberus-provided DLC, so I wouldn't worry too much about continuity.

Also sweet trailer. New spectre! Car chase (which I hope doesn't suck)!

Well. The way I looked at it. I didn't really want the Cerberus information getting out to anyone. I mean Cerberus used it for nefarious means but who was to say that someone else wouldn't do the same if they paid enough.

Basically, my reasoning was more, better to have it stashed away in Alliance archives where it would be quickly forgotten about.

...I put way too much thought into it.

Hrmm, I'm torn. On my canon Infiltrator shep, I romanced ashley in the first one, and tali in the second. It's only on my alt Soldier Femshep that I fucked Liara, and even managed to stay loyal. I typically do everything on the infiltrator first and only complete everything on my soldier if I have the time, but, hrmmm.

This is just supposed to be the first DLC bridging the gap between ME2 and ME3 so maybe we're in for a reunion somewhere down the line.

In any case, this is a day 1 purchase for me. Bioware has done a good job keeping ME2 installed on my hard drive. It's sort of funny that it took more than two games for us to meet a Spectre other than Nihlus and Saren.

Real Shepard understands that those actions on Akuze made him the man he became. One that could solve the riddle of the Prothean beacons to stop Saren as well as unravel the mystery of the Collectors. Cerberus tried to do that to Toombs as well but he was a pussy.

Hmm, so shot of Liaras friend getting tortured, so they possibly aren't going the Keyser Soze route. (could be a double bluff, damn you bioware!)

If it turns out that the sb is Asari i'm going to dig out an old theory I have, the reason why benezia never talked about the other asari parent to liara is because she'd be dead (she feared both herself and liara getting murdered by the sb) if she did. In other words.. dun dun duuun, the shadow broker is liaras pop.
