I had never played Kassadin before. Fuck.
We thankfully had a good team to cover my shortcomings while I figured Kass out and I didn't feed at least, but it wasn't even a ranked game so wtf. So much damn rage from that guy over nothing.

How many of my dollars is that going to cost?
And much more than LoL
Okay so you would think Valve, the masters of polish and usability would look at the basic rules of the game that make it impossible to win if you have a moron on your team and tweak them to be more forgiving rather then port the same mechanics that make for a caustic player base.
Kinda sad really.
Since LoL is free.
maybe the plan is to release one close as possible to the old dota to draw over the player base, then release a valve-ized one down the road?
When a playerbase has that rabid of a fanbase you don't need to release a "new" one down the line
Just tweak it and make it prettier
It's what Madden's been doing for years now
like l4d 1 and 2 kinda did (at least according to my l4d crazy friend)
I was pretty skeptical about L4D2 but once I played it I realized they made almost everything better. Its obvious now that they didn't think L4D was complete enough, so they started again from the ground up.
They have even introduced the old characters to the new game and one of the old campaigns as well, which is sweet.
If there is one thing you can say about Valve its that they are absolutely community oriented. They might be one of the best developers around because of that.
u know
cant expect valve to make an all encompassing tutorial for a constantly shifting metagame what what
I am not up for going back to a dota game where strength and intelligence don't scale compared to agility heroes
this is so unnecessary too since HoN is there. I mean I guess they might port all the heroes quicker than the HoN guys or something? Blergh
bbbblergh!
