Considering how much marketing they did last Fall, I am really surprised that the game isn't in a more playable state.
I know that I, for one, won't answer it. It pretty much says that all we can say is that we're in the beta, but nothing else. Seriously.

Tribes Ascend is the game you are looking for then. This game has jetpacks, but overall movement is slower and the energy on the jet isn't to long.
I just like the look of the gliding in that last trailer, even if it is just flying off a cliff, and the whole 'players shaping the narrative' thing that they've got going looks pretty interesting as well. I can see myself playing this more than Tribes.
Quick question so that I can make two people's day. So I'm happy to announce that I have two Beta invites to send out, and I'm for sure sending them to someone in the PA community. The quoted list is the only reference that I could find for those wanting to gain access, but it is rather outdated I assume. If Echo and Darmak respond to this post today, they will get Beta codes - if not, I'll be going down the list.

Wish the beta people could say a little more about their thoughts on how this stacks up to non f2p games...
Best I could say would be lots of potential, but quite a ways to go.
f2p doesn't mean lower quality or anything if thats what you are implying. It used to, but now the f2p model is extremely profitable and games don't "lose quality" just because they are f2p.
