You could technically wait it out and get the level 25 and 40 motorcycles.
1 use gliders are 100 vouchers for 25 so you could easily earn several hundred of them and not need to buy gliders.
Edit: to expand there really isn't any difference in the gliders.
Bike wise the base one goes 62 km/h, the best ones go 86 km/h. This is on flat road. If you go downhill first they then level out at about 10 km/h faster even on a flat surface.

And don't even get me started on the escort missions...
Any game dev that thinks escort missions are ever a good idea needs to be kicked in the privates. Repeatedly.
Corporal Rhodes is at least able to keep himself alive. I just dislike having to wal with him for 2 kilometers.
I think you mean crawl. Since he moves slower than your walk speed.
And he berates you the whole godawful time. "This is how we do it in the Accord!" "Bite me Rhodes, I coulda done it five times by now. Or once well with plenty of time left over to do someone you don't want to think abut in a sexual context."
...and when you are done with that; take a folding
chair to Creation and then suplex the Void.

Thank god there is no reason you ever have to play an escort mission that I've encountered so far. I see the word escort in a job board description and it's like nope I'll do something else.
Feh, no longer able to play as anything other then with NPC frame thanks to a shiny new bug. While I admit having that 5 shot burst rifle with tracers and a grenade launcher is nifty the lack of bikes, jets, and running gets rather old.
Guess its off to Destiny for tonight.
*Edit, found where the bug was hiding. Might want to avoid the Tip of the Spear mission from Shanty for a bit...

HA! It seems the Accord is afflicted with big egos. If I have one more town guard tell me to "Move along," I'm going to show them exactly why Nostromo is hiring ARES operators instead of using his own soldiers. As in, he wants humanity not to become extinct.
I skipped Rhodes after trying 4 or 5 times across two of his escort missions. At one point, some vehicles and barriers spawned on top of him and his party, trapping him on top. I did just walk 840m with three unarmed civvies to the Thump Dump. Painful. Feels like their movement is purely server based and the server is just chugging trying to handle the pathing and AI.

Aero and Oilspill's VA in these livestreams really do a lot to sell the game's story and move it along, as well as pick up the slack of some of the more incidental NPC dialogue you get in some of these jobs.
And who doesn't like taking orders from a cute brunette?
Anyone know offhand if the absorption bomb works on BWA titan boss? Max cooldown with a cooldown ability should be able to stand by one of its feet and cycle as quick as titans aoe attack...

The VA for Aero does a great job, which is good because she does all the talking for ARES 35. Was interesting watching as they fiddled with her personality during beta and other characters come and go while she stayed around.
RIP Never Satisfied Brody.

There's a quest to craft a bike now? There's levels too? I haven't played this game in a while.
Managed to pull off a couple escorts that weren't explicitly advertised as such; still painful. Also bought the plans for a blue quality level 15 or so rocket turret; thing is all sorts of fun.

Aww, Brody's gone? That's a shame. He was a character you loved to hate and that little repeatable mission was fun as heck.
I admit watching accord guards try to shoot my baby panda in their normally inept fashion was amusing for a good while. Reminds me of JRPG's where you kill the cutest mob first, because it is almost certainly the most dangerous threat... My first alliance in ffxi (12 folks) was obliterated by a freaking bunny.

If I want my pet around I just use the C button calldown menu. That's a pretty nifty feature, I use it for transportation and utility items. That way I can keep ammo and medkits in the 6 and 7 slots. The 8 slot gets whatever consumable I have a stack of that can be useful in combat situations like Chosen Drones or flares .

Red Beans are only a 100Cr now. That's 2,500Cy which isn't hard to come by. Just buy a red bean off of the exchange and sock it away every few sessions.
@DreadBert Which perks do you recommend? I'm kind of scared to allocate any since the respec cost is what 4 red beans?
Don't we have like 50 free respecs? Or was that something that added up in my hiatus?
That 3m jump and 20% energy regeneration are extremely nice. Movement speed can get huge too for avoiding fire as well. Of two minds on the damage reduction stuff since using the points to not get shot has been working better in BWA orgies o' death.
Also class skills can be godly, I.e. recon gets health regeneration for just hitting stuff with about anything. Don't honestly know if melee recon can die... Once melee starts breaking cloak (nerf inbound (thanks pvp)) all bets are off though. Bio classes get a health steal but it's bugged to only work with guns for the moment.
Level 14 Mammoth, still no perk points. What gives?
Also, I wish they had some alternate system for leveling frames. Switching to a slightly different frame of the same class and starting over from level 1 sucks.

Odd, are you not seeing any to allocate when you go to the Garage-Perks-Edit Perks ?
For bastion the perk that gives your stuff passive health regen, its really nice. Not sure how much the +deployable dmg resistance perk helps.

So a couple questions for those of you playing right now, as I consider to get the starter pack for this.
How much stuff, or what kind of stuff, can you get for 100 red beans? Is that a lot? Is there any way to look at the contents of the microtransaction store outside the game to check?
How much of a bonus do you get from VIP status? What does it effect? XP? Resource intakes?

The starter pack seems like a real rotten deal to me, honestly.
The only things worth buying with red beans are the reusable travel items, which are all 175 beans.
You can convert red beans to credits at a rate of roughly 100 credits for 1 red bean, and then use those to buy stuff. Most advanced frames go for 5k-6k credits on the market, so you could do that and buy an advanced frame.
VIP status gives you +25% xp, money, and resources.

If memory serves perks are:
10 & 14
Even levels from 18 to 28
every level until 39
Two for 40
Really need more play room on perks. Too many of the level 1 perks are almost required.
