I would feel uneasy working at a place that would do that. Also, it seems like bad practice not to pay your workers what they can actually get elsewhere.

Yeah. If they can me, which they won't, I guess I take the other job. The thing is, I wasn't seeking a new job. They other guys called me and said they were adding a position and before they opened it up to the public they wanted to know if I wanted it.

Ummmm that system sounds pretty overpowered for WoW. Don't know about BF2, but again, sounds a bit more hefty than what you'd really need.

Your best bet on building a new rig is to hunt out shit with scalability. I see companies every day that pick up Pentium M's and regret that decision less than 6 months later because they start picking up applications that won't handle the workload. Just my two cents.
