Xbox Live Region Question

Quick question: I have a US Xbox Live account, but will be in Australia for a bit. I've only got the 20 Gb HD so I cycle through some of the games on demand I've bought, but I don't know if I'll be able to download them down there.

I know there are typically some region issues - will Live let me download content in Australia that I've already purchased even if it isn't available for purchase in Australia?

    I can't definitively answer your question, but I know that when I tried to use my UK gamertag on my friend's xbox (via 'recover gamertag') in Vancouver, it worked just fine. I was able to recover my tag and play MW2 online.

    As for downloading stuff I'd bought, I can't say.... Maybe an email to xbox support, they usually get back pretty quick....
