Note of my noobness:
I got the mission to go to Kings Row, and didn't realize a train would take me right there. So I decided the best route was to go through the sewers.

I wouldn't count on her making it to 45 by Friday night. I mean, that would be awesome, but somehow I doubt she will actually play hardcore enough the next two days. Maybe if the combination of Harlon and Ghost's sparkling personalities could keep her online long enough.
She's really in the mood to do a TF for some reason and was slightly saddend to hear the new one was 45+.
Oh god, the Sewers, the Sewers are horrible.
My wife once while exploring followed the roads and ended up in Steel Canyon at level 3. That was her 2nd night playing.

It's only five missions long, but the maps are larger than normal and each mission usually has more than one task you need to complete. Considering a PUG did extremely well, I would rate the difficulty as being easy, but we had the difficulty set to Heroic for four out of five missions. Knowing the people in PA, I don't think you guys should have any trouble running the missions.
EDIT: Forgot to mention, the task force seemed to last around three hours, give or take.

We managed to take down the second AV and finish the mission with maybe a minute or less to spare. I was booted off of the server as soon as I exited to Rikti War Zone.

Defiance boosts the damage you do as you lose health. So if you're at a pixel's worth of health you'll be putting down reds without a problem. It's not really seen as a great inherent power since blasters don't really want to be near death anyway.
Right now? You can get a chuckle watching your Defiance bar finally fill up moments before you die.
In the near future, it might actually be useful; they're seriously talking about changing it. Until then, just pretend it doesn't exist. You are far better off popping a Respite instead of trying to take advantage of Defiance's damage bonus.

Has anyone else had problems with sound-loop crashes since I10 hit? I seem to get one every ten minutes or so on a big team now, and I haven't had that type of crash happen for ages.
Ahh... I forgot about the powers page. I was right clicking my health bar, and wouldn't let me go to info on it.

I have never had a sound loop crash. Perhaps because my Soundcard is older than fossilized dirt, or because I always have CoH's sound off.
Hooray for logic! Hopefully I'll be crashing a bit less if I can ever get on the damn server. Why oh why must Virtue drop just when I want to play?

On the positive side, I had Rikti as my enemy type in some random mission I had, and the upgrades are amazing. That new double-bladed sword they're giving out actually caused me some worry. Granted I punched him into a stalactite 5 seconds later, but the point stands.
Does anybody still play heroes or is it all about the villains now? I have both, but i think I'm rolling somthing new.
Accualt said he'll be starting a new thread later today, he's much gooder at OPs than me.
