the story in the newspost about Khoo watching the freeplay area for good dudes is too cool
he brought me three young men, told me there was nothing they could not accomplish in within the confines of the rhythm genre, and then immediately left the room through a door which only a few moments prior had not existed.

Man, what an awesome experience. You're just a regular dude, having fun showing off your mad skills at PAX for a good time, and all of a sudden there's a firm but kind hand on your shoulder. You hear the voice that commands the gods.

    "It's time."

You have been chosen. One of Khoo's hands opens the door you always dreamed of, but could never find. The other hand guides you through unknown paths that few have seen, fewer have walked, and through which only one can truly guide another. Your powers are required for the good of humanity. Khoo stands before the last door. On the other side: Tycho and an empty stage. They call for aid - and who else can answer but you?

    This comic is pretty great

    But this newspost is [CLIP]

    Holy shit

I found this video of it too. Audio doesn't seem too much better, but the video is a lot clearer and closer (they filmed one of the screens).

    Anyway.
This comic has a very Louis CK bag-of-dicks vibe. The best kind of vibe.

Kingworks, nice strip! Is that a fan strip? That's pretty cool! New to boards, forgive the naivete.

I wonder if they shouldn't have just extended the initial conversation and have the second panel be the third instead, I'd already started laughing there.

Or at least take out the second conversation and just show the horse standing there.

Edit: Reading that again, it sounds like I'm just complaining. I did like the comic!

100 is a pretty big number when you think about it in terms of horse dicks.

    'Tis and thanks.

Seen some others do the same before, thought I'd take a crack at it - the edit, not the subject matter. >_>

No, you're right. This one suffers from fairly advanced CAD Syndrome. Tycho's dialogue is totally unnecessary, or could at least be cut way down. There's no reason for him to fully reiterate that Gabe is committed to gargling horse cock. Panel 1 is right over there! I didn't forget the setup to the joke in the intervening panel.

Oh, also: Kingworks, quality edit! You should know, though, that there's a dedicated thread for comic edits. I guess the mods got tired of them saturating the new comic thread.

Man, you're complaining about a comic about gargling horse cocks. This is a new low.

Setting horse cocks aside, that is some nicely done pastoral landscape there. Those clouds!

Per Gabe's Twitter - "Yes I drew the first panel of today's strip based on my old artwork. It was really difficult but a lot of fun!"

Per Khoo's Twitter - "In Jerry's post he makes it sound like I hand picked them. No sir! I asked the Freeplay Stage Enforcers to keep an eye out - thanks guys!"

Does anyone have the link to Mike drawing a dickwolf? Or even a still picture of the drawing? I searched "dickwolf" on youtube, and there is a real TV producer with the name "Dick Wolf" whose results overtook any PA related stuff. Holy shit, what a name.

EDIT: Oh shit thanks, I didn't see that video

you know what's really hard? i mean, aside from horse cock?

trying not to laugh or even smile while reading this comic during class.

also, the Duke Nuken voice actor totally "trolled" Mike and Jerry at the first PAX Q&A panel!

I read LICD for a while, even had it in my daily comic bookmarks. Then I decided that I hated it.

On a comic-related note, I agree that the 2nd panel is very pretty! I wonder if Mike is still doing any non-comic related art, like the on-actual-canvas painting he was getting in to.

There's not being original and then there's copy pasting. Look at those characters for god's sake.

It's like Max (but with a bigger forehead), Brent (but fat), Jade (but fat), Cole (but more cartoony) and Francis (but taller).
