Chrome update borked Google homepage

So ever since upgrading to Chrome 6, the topmost bar on Google's homepage (the one with links to Gmail/Images/Reader/etc., and a log-in link) has refused to show up on my computer. This is only occuring in Chrome--IE is displaying the homepage normally. It's getting incredibly annoying. Does anyone know what might be causing this, and how to fix it?


(Google Instant Search is also not working in Chrome, though I have no idea if these two issues are related.)

    That is odd because both of those things work for me. Which Google site are you going to, as far as i know instant search only works on .com.
