Their focus is primarily on the Japanese market, but i'm surprised we don't see these games on the Wii instead. I think I remember however reading that NIS continues to support the Playstation because Sony has been really good to them since they've been developing for the PS2. Disgaea 1 and 2 were pretty good system sellers.
Disgaea got ported to the DS, didn't it? Maybe they just don't like the idea of a turn-based strategy RPG being played with the waggle stick.

It took you pointing it out for me to notice it, since I was looking at the dark red bit directly underneath, which looks entirely too small to be someone's foot. It looks like the end of the kind of tail Etna and Fallen Angel Flonne have, and since Flonne is in Angel Trainee mode... But yeah, the pink one definitely looks like Raspberyl.
I wonder if anyone's got hold of the larger image; there's usually one that shows what's been cut off by the box. If there is, we might be able to find out whose foot that is top-centre, above Demon Lord Cutethulhu, or whatever their name is.
I also wonder if Demon Lord Hanako will be making another appearance.

I don't doubt Asagi will show up (according to NIS polls, she's the second most popular NIS character after Laharl). But I want her on the cover.
The day she's considered "Cover Worthy" is the day she gets her own game... which will NEVER HAPPEN.
Hell, I'm beginning to think Nippon Ichi just made up "Makai Wars" so they could "scrap it" later and have Asagi become a running gag that they themselves are laughing at.
I dunno if Disgaea infinite is canon or not (I think it is, theres an ending that links right to Disgaea 2), but she mentioned that there was a test or something that would let her become an angel again. Looks like she ended up doing it.

Another possible character I've spotted in that art; what looks like Zetta's hair in the top right corner, just above the robot/spacesuit. No idea who the other two at the top are, though.

Jeeze, please, no more Etna. No more Flonne. I am sick as sick can be of them.
But they're the main female characters of the entire series. The only reason they come back is to show that your insane leveling in Disgaea 1 payed off in some way.
Besides, their characters are popular, and I'd rather have them personally return in each game then have some lame personality clone take their place.

It's shorter than the first two, but you'll still have a blast. They added a ton of neat features and made power-leveling even easier than Disgaea 2 did.
Well durr. Disgaea 2, IMO, was the best game in the series.... mostly because of Adell. His manly odor(?) was enough to convince Yukimaru to join unquestionably.
