I have to wonder, wouldn't more travel distance options be sensible?

    I would think so.

I mean I came from FL, so I passed the farthest (400mi +) option before I even got 1/4 of the way to Seattle.

So we get stiff once in a while. So we have a little fun. What’s wrong with that? This is a free country, isn’t it? I can take my panda any place I want to. And if I wanna buy it a drink, that’s my business.

Yeah, my bad :( I will make sure that gets fixed in future years.

    Survey done.

Distance traveled was definitely more than 400miles. More options would be good

On a related note... you may also want to ask travel time, instead of/as well as distance.

Alternatively, a fill-in box for approximate distance.

While you're at it, add a section for total distance traveled to/from PAX over all time and by what means.

I want this just so I can put in 25,000 miles by car.

I usually don't make that mistake, but I rush posted that one, and didn't notice it in time.

    And done.

I agree that we need more distance options. Sydney to LA then WCTT to Seattle then back again. I passed 400 miles in the first hour.

PAX also needs more internets. Femtocells hanging from the ceiling like mistletoe. Mobile towers wheeled in from all corners of the nation. Wifi access points under every bushel. We're nerds, dammit, INTERNET US!

I was also amazed how many Australians make the trip to PAX. We're like a plague.

As every year, I suggested the elusive KHOO PANEL. We'll probably never see it, but maybe some day the stars will align and the gods will deem my request worthy of divine intervention.

A Khoo panel would be cool. My main suggestion was what I posted in the concerts thread. Just about all the line problems that we had this year.

And of course I marked PAX Prime as can't miss.

    +1 Khoo panel

    Why it will never happen:

1: There may well then be no PAX at all. Maybe at East or PAX LonSydMelSingaporeEtc Where more of the con is outsourced.
2: Same reason a Khoo panel would be so interesting.
    3: Khoo is a jerk.

Note that one of the above is a joke.
Yes that's right. No PAX in it's right mind would ever go to Melbourne ;)
