Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!
My current one is starting to show its age, won't hold much of a charge anymore, and is frankly starting to get dull. It's also something like 6 or 7 years old, and it was only a $30 trimmer when I bought it. So I figure now's a good time to start shopping around again.
If I can use it for full-on shaving when needed, that would be ideal, though the beard trimming would be the primary function.

Took a gamble getting this one considering it's low price
It is just plain awesome, you won't be able to get a clean shave with it (good news for me as I hate a clean shave) but it's adjustable for variable beard length and it never slips.
I have that second Whal trimmer and i wouldn't really recommend it. It always "catches" on my beard when i try to trim it. It seems like hair can get caught between the trimmer itself and the clip-on plastic thing. On top of that, the clips were all too short for me- trimming my beard with them, no matter which one, made it looked like i had a 5'oclock shadow.
Now, that's not bad if that is what you want (i guess) but if you have some part of your beard that you want to be thicker than the rest the clips don't give you enough variety to really do that.

Really can't recommend it enough.
I want to know more PA people on Twitter.
Though I've been looking at a couple on Amazon, and wonder if anybody has experience with them or something similar.

Turns out $30 is about what I should expect for a beard trimmer.
