I have a job for you

I need you to infiltrate Gametap and convince them to bump Freelancer and Sid Meier's Pirates! to the top of the priority list for making games 64-bit compatible

And then to do both of them within the next twenty-four hours

    You have... Uh, twelve hours

I have faith in you. If anyone can fuck their way into a small internet company's inner circle in so little time, it's you.

wouldn't it be both easier and cheaper to just buy freelancer and send it to you

    I found Reach kinda boring.

It's fun if you really like Halo but I didn't find anything especially new or entertaining to hold me. Halo 2 remains the last Halo game I played all the way through.

If that woman's cleavedge made one more person pick the game up off the shelf, it was a net positive for microprose. And to be blunt, if taking her top off could have increased sales enough to get a sequel, I'd endorse it 100000% because I like playing great games.

Heh, Turok. It had that gun that fired big bullets that attached to the skull and drilled your brain out.

    Yep, Omen.

edit: duh, not Omen. Phantasm, was it?

That was the one with the hammer guy at the end, right?

Yeah, that was the last one for me, too. I don't see what the new one offers at all that's actually "new" beyond the constant presence of friendly dudes to fall back on... which isn't very interesting to me in and of itself.

I have to side with EA principally on Kotick being completely full of shit.

Well yeah, I mean when you are still currently under litigation for your poor treatment of a company, talking shit to the company they went back to? Kind of a dumb move. Though this guy has never been a genius.

I like how he lists 3 studios they've bought then goes on to say in "in every case except for two, the original founders of the studios are still running the studios today"

    Which just sounds super terrible

    Ayn Rand’s A Selfish Christmas (1951)

In this hour-long radio drama, Santa struggles with the increasing demands of providing gifts for millions of spoiled, ungrateful brats across the world, until a single elf, in the engineering department of his workshop, convinces Santa to go on strike. The special ends with the entropic collapse of the civilization of takers and the spectacle of children trudging across the bitterly cold, dark tundra to offer Santa cash for his services, acknowledging at last that his genius makes the gifts — and therefore Christmas — possible. Prior to broadcast, Mutual Broadcast System executives raised objections to the radio play, noting that 56 minutes of the hour-long broadcast went to a philosophical manifesto by the elf and of the four remaining minutes, three went to a love scene between Santa and the cold, practical Mrs. Claus that was rendered into radio through the use of grunts and the shattering of several dozen whiskey tumblers. In later letters, Rand sneeringly described these executives as “anti-life.”

Then they are senile and wouldn't appreciate it either way.

In the long run, no. Every game I have sent to me is a few cubic inches of extra shit I'll ultimately probably have to pack in a toughbox (Which I will also purchase and have sent to me) and then mail back to Germany.

I just bought a 1 TB external hard drive to avoid exactly that. But in the case of Freelancer, that's probably what I'll end up doing.

I do do that. But give the dull nature of it even with music and the fact that I don't like crowded gyms, I want to get out on my actual bike every now and again.

    Man.

Me and the wife had a really really awesome gym.

But it being awesome also attracted really fucking annoying junior college kids.

And being Mississippi, the exercise bikes were directly under the all Christian Music radio speakers.

    True Likes was great

Perfect Dark had the eraser gun, but the secondary mode was an x-ray scope that auto targeted.

There was a map where the gun was in a room with one entrance, and in the room was also sentry suitcases. You could set two of them up at the door to defend it and just snipe the entire game. First one there won.

I wonder if it's true David Beckham has been scoring in different goals. His reaction suggests no, but the accuser hasn't backed away.

I'd still like such stories to be banned from being headlines or the first items on news broadcasts.

I just want to know why it's reported on here. No one in the states cares who doesn't have the last name Beckham. His wife is the bigger star here.

There's no living with a killing. There's no goin' back from one. Right or wrong, it's a brand... a brand sticks. There's no goin' back. Now you run on home to your mother and tell her... tell her everything's alright. And there aren't any more guns in the valley.
