I was taking a walk yesterday and all of a sudden this dog runs past me, no leash, no collar.

He seems like a friendly and energetic pup so I figure that his owner must be nearby, trying to catch up to him. So I sat down on the ground, which always makes my dog come see what I'm up to, and sure enough this little scamp came running up to me, at which point I grabbed him. About five seconds later this woman came around the corner and was like "OH THANK YOU YOU FOUND HIM" and that's the end of my story

What kind of dog was it?

it was tiny, mostly white with brown spots. And super happy
