It was one of the most popular brands coming into today (tied with DC and SH with 6 players each), so it was reasonable for it to win. Plus, B:L and Infidel were probably drumming up support for it.
But yeah, looking back at things, we also were putting a lot of red votes on Gatito members (Abysmal Lynx, Darian, B:L).

After discovering that the only way to beat these animal... tattoo... things was to team up with someone, everyone in the group quickly paired off and easily defeated the hordes of Noise. Feeling good about the recent victory, everyone noticably seemed a lot calmer. It wasn't long before somebody stepped forward to serve as a much-needed leader.
You'd never met him before, but just by looking at him you could tell that if anyone could get you out of this nightmare alive, it was him. He was smart, charismatic, and one of the best dressers you'd ever seen. You listened eagerly as he began to explain his strategy to get everybody back home. Yeah, you think to yourself, everything's going to be just fine.
Suddenly, your potential savior B:L was struck by a mysterious bolt of red electricity and fizzled out of existence.
In the stunned silence, somebody yells "It was him! I saw it!" and jabs an accusing finger at Abysmal Lynx. Before he could even defend himself, the crowd had savagely beaten him to a pulp. With a blare of static, Abysmal Lynx's body also disappears.
In the absence of B:L's leadership, the group turned to kime, because he claimed B:L told him everything about the plan before he was killed.
