The absolute latest a Mission can be posted is 1 hour before Vote Close.
Is the GM punished if they fail to do this?
Yes, I and 3 non-Reaper players will die.
Second, GMs don't pick the missions. Or at least, I don't get to.
Third, being GM has it's perks. It even has special perks for going to a Reaper. Let me emphasize and give more details on that: Every time a Reaper is elected for GM, they get 2 extra kills. (Corollary: this only applies once per Reaper.)
Fourth, TODAY'S MISSION!
Day 2 Mission
Today's Mission is all about Fashion! Style is everything in Shibuya. EVERYTHING.
Mission: Vote for your least favorite Brand.
Time Limit: All day
Fail, and face Erasure.
- The Reapers
I now know as much about this mission now as you do.
...Fifthly, daniant, that was all wrong. You were kidding, right?
Kime? The OP says we need to use CYAN for mission votes. Did you get special permission to change that, are you trying to get all of us to die by failing to vote properly, or did you just not read the OP carefully?
How is voting handled? Voting closes each day at 8 PM EST. Voting for Erasure is done in bold red. Voting for Brands is done in bold yellow. Voting for GM is done in bold lime. Missions that require a vote are done in bold cyan. Retractions are not required for any vote, but Mission votes cannot be changed. Votes in edited posts will not count.
Also, it's late, and I know I make bad Phalla decisions when it's late, but I figure this has the greatest chance of fun stuff happening, so I say screw my vow of not making big decisions late at night! 'sides that, it's just as likely no one will believe me :P.
I was seered last night. You should give me the GM vote, lest a Reaper take it.
I also have a couple background questions: what alignment would the Composer, the Conductor, or the Producer be?
Just a thought: in case something bad happens to the people who like the brand we choose as least favorite, we might want to pick one of the ones that have fewer adherents.
These brands each only have two players who chose it as their favorite:
Hip Snake
Mus Rattus
Pavo Real
Tigre Punks
Wild Boar

My favorite brand is, naturally, Natural Puppy

Hopefully accidentally voting for Natural Puppy that one time won't have wasted my vote. Eurgh. I shouldn't try to phalla while sick while tired while coding.
What's the innuendo with Hip Snake? I just don't understand.

He's a shy overambitious dog-catcher on the wrong side of the law. She's an orphaned psychic mercenary with the power to bend men's minds. They fight crime!
I also have a couple background questions: what alignment would the Composer, the Conductor, or the Producer be?
The non-spoiler version (you can basically find this out after 5 minutes in the game)
The Composer's main purpose in the Underground is to create and maintain the rules for the Reapers' Game, and to run the Reapers' Game. While almost never leaving his headquarters in the Shibuya River, the Composer works through his second-in-command, the Conductor.
The Conductor serves as the Composer's representative, transmitting orders from the Composer to the Reapers. Their respective roles are analogous to that of their musical counterparts: just as a composer writes music and a conductor interprets and communicates that music to the orchestra, so does the Game's Composer create plans and orders, and it falls to the Conductor to give those orders to the Reapers and ensure they are followed.
The Producer also serves as a sort of guardian of the Game, traveling around Shibuya and making sure both Reapers and Players play by the rules set by the Composer.
Read only if you beat the game
The Composer could potentially be village aligned.
The Conductor = very hard pressed not to be reaper aligned.
The Producer = likely a neutral.
But they could mess with formula quite a bit. Especially if they don't follow the story.

Also keep in mind, there could be Players who are not actually dead (and therefore play by different rules), and Reapers who are Player-aligned (who, again, play be different rules).

I am a player. I was scanned and chosen to be network mouthpiece. If anyone special wants to contact me, I'll put you in touch with the network.
Obviously I will have a specific information exchange, etc.
The safe word is banana.
Also, please feel free to scan away to satisfy your own curiosity/paranoia.
God I hope I'm doing this right. I've never been network spokesperson before.

Also, I should stay GM. Every Reaper accidentally elected is bad.

No mistakes may be held against me! I'm GM, I say so, MUAHAHAHA
Plus, you know, we don't want to lose...
We could elect someone else to confirm what I've said, though, which I guess may be a good idea.

I still want to see what happens when Sheep Heavenly wins.
Um... Darian. Sure.
And... I'm going to hold off on the red vote.
For now.

Mainly I fear shenanigans if he gets green'd.
The Producer...which makes it very strange and makes one question if Green is following the fluff.
