    Glad to help :)

Some people are like Slinkies. They have no practical use whatsoever,
but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

    Our cards arrived today! Woo!

We also received more than we ordered - two sets of 100 ballooned into two sets of 259.

UPS Ground? Oh that's going to suck. Be prepared to pay $20 - $40 brokerage when they deliver. If you don't end up paying, consider yourself lucky.

We DID end up paying - $35 brokerage on delivery. It was the major expense of the whole order - each set of 100 cards were cheaper than that (shipping cost too). I'd advise other Canadians to find a friend south of the border that's willing to take delivery for you.
Or find a way to beat this mysterious brokerage fee. Bribes? Tunnels, maybe?

I realize this is last minute, but: there was a rainbow-colored PAX logo for the MMT previously -- it seems to have been replaced by the image of a train. Would it be possible to co-opt the rainbow logo for the GLBT Meetup/GLBT attendees instead? It'd be pretty freaking perfect honestly. I don't know who'd need to give permission on that front but figured I might as well ask.

    1. We will probably have 100+ people taking part this year, so you'll use up at least a third of them.

    2. Having extras means that if some random person wants one, you don't have to worry about running out.

    3. Mine have my twitter handle on them, so during PAX I use it as a casual business card.

    4. Incentive to come back next year!

Reasons 2 and 3 are what I'm looking forward to outside of the official swaps.
These cards can make excellent ice breakers and ways to keep in touch with random people you meet in lines and whatnot.

They don't like hotlinking. Google "Dress Made Out of Magic Playing Cards" and you'll see it.

LOL. Yup. But I may have misused the stat. In my case, "1" means I almost never drink.

I couldn't figure out whether Drunkenness related to how much you drink or how drunk you get.
Like, is getting wasted instantly 10 or is drinking a case by yourself 10

I always understood it as lower the number lower your tolerance.

I figured it was your natural state of drunkenness. You know, like your base score. Drinking would then add modifiers to it.

It's kinda like the height and weight stats for Galactus on the old Marvel Universe cards. It was always a base rate with (variable) next to it. (variable) is just assumed in this case.

Depending on what template we do next year we should be more specific with the stats so everyone is on the same page.

Considering the other stat bars I took it as a measurement of, not a tolerance against. Hence I put a 4 since I enjoy beer but rarely drink it to excess or imbibe liquor at all, and its usually at home not out and about in bars.

If its a tolerance measurement versus a propensity for maybe it could be called "iron gut" or something instead.
