Ok so like I said, my MX1000 is currently doing fine, except for the occasional scroll freeze then it doubles the next click, but you can get a G700 on newegg for $65 with the promo.

I just bought a Logitech G35 headset for $75 after the MIR and I don't exactly have money to throw around but if it's a good buy I may consider it more. I don't know how the tech for mice will be (more "gaming" grade in the future? although I hate that term) so I'm sort of looking for suggestions on a course of action here.

    PSN/Origin: Grizz359
    Steam: Grizz
    3DS: 4038-6012-7259

i have a wireless Trust Mouse (MI-7770C) that is cheap and feels very good. I used it for about two years now and since a week the scrolling wheel doesn't work anymore.

I think I will try a Apple Magic Mouse next, although it's probably not the best choice for games.

    Don't.

It's fine for your Mum to check her email, but absolutely unuseable for any real use.

Disagree. I've been using one for a few weeks now on my Macbook, and I'm really liking it. Very easy and effortless to use. It has no noticeable lag, which is something I can't say for any other bluetooth mouse I've tried. It always connects instantly, and the battery lasts a really long time. BUT, I would never, ever use it for any sort of gaming. My Razer Imperator hooked up to my desktop handles that much better.

A few weeks into it, yes, you'll like it. Give it a couple months, and you'll end up ditching it. Worst mouse I've ever used (luckily it came with the company iMac, and I would've felt incredible buyer's remorse had I actually bought one).

I really wish there was a 2011 version of a trackball. I used a trackball extensively as a kid and they are superb at FPSes... but they can't keep up with lasers which I hope someone can revive them somehow.
