Wow, he was still bobbing a bit with that scope. With 100 skill and crouching, the regular rifle doesn't bob at all. For regular/papa/mama deathclaws, I'm prob gonna end up using AM sniper rifle with the armor piercing rounds. Donno if that;ll be enough to instant kill on V. Hard though.

on my sniper character I didn't even find any mods for the sniper rifle so when I picked up an anti-materiel rifle during the final battle it was an improvement

nice for when you know you're going to make one-shot kills for 100% certain and don't need to be stealthy
otherwise the rapid fire and silence of the regular sniper upgraded is better.
Do they have different names, or are you talking about a scoped hunting rifle?
in which case fuck you a sniper rifle is a sniper rifle but this gun is designed to kill vehicles
and don't say deathclaws because the sniper rifle is still better at killing them
even the unique sniper rifle is inferior in most situations to the regular upgraded one if you're into being silent

except with the gauss rifle that thing is terrible in VATS if you're fighting dudes or things that move a lot
