No It doesn't look like any other OS X Apple-software. Its just the iPhone camera-app logo, but with a simple triangle on the side. Its not very harmonic, and its too rectangular to fit in with the other apps in the dock.

Timemachine fits with the iTunes, Safari, Quicktime and now Mac App Store logo. And iChat is still pretty square like every other logo.

It probably will be; its not an incremental release like Snow Leopard is.
Why would you assume otherwise? It'll be $129. 10.6 was pretty explicitly billed as an interim release to lay a lot of groundwork for developers and they didn't want Users to pay for stuff they aren't using.
