Well, I enjoyed it, for what it's worth. Combat's a bit simplistic, but the levels are big and have plenty of hidden goodies to encourage exploration.

Although, according to the OP, it's 50% off next week. That's the main reason I brought it up earlier!

It is hard as BALLS.

Very good, though.

I know it wasn't exactly epic literature, but I was expecting more story with the DLC, but they've just thrown out some challenge maps. I have no problem with this at all.

Sorry, I've been away from my computer for a few days, but I'll update the OP on saturday with everyone's recommendations.

I finally grabbed comic jumper the other day. as near everyone else has said: the writing is great, the gameplay is pretty meh.
the unlockable splosion man level is good stuff. I'd buy a dlc level pack so damn fast if they made it.

I didnt find it insanely hard, but it had a bit of difficulty to it. Was a bit dissapointed that it wasnt a full level tho. I hope they give us some more full levels with new bonuses and weapons and such in the future.

Starting Monday, there will be arcade titles in the DotW for the first time in a while. I'm def getting Snoopy for that price and might bite on the Risk game. My old roommates had it and it can be fun with the right group.

Let me just point out that Snoopy Flying Ace for 400 points is a freakin steal. Buy this game. The multiplayer is awesome fun. I'm really hoping that this brings a lot of new players to the game.

I can't recommend Pinball FX2 hard enough. The tables are uniformly great and it has (imo) the best leadboard integration of any XBLA game.

I finally beat Costume Quest this morning with 200/200. Great little game - I just wish I'd gotten more time with some of the later costumes. Hell, 2 of them only made an appearance for me in the last couple of fights.

hmm, apparently Peggle is on sale for $5 this week too and microsoft didn't bother to tell anybody.

and while usually this thread is about sharing how awesome games are, I'm going to issue a warning to stay far, far away from Age of Booty. I bought it a while back when it was a DotW, thinking "oh it's a simple pirate game and I haven't heard anything bad about it." But I finally got around to trying it out the other day and it's pretty terrible.

You all would know this. Does the single-player part of Monday Night Combat (the mode with wave after wave of bots to kill where I spend my time creating towers and whatnot) support local coop? I think my friend would like it, but I don't want to go to the trouble of putting it on USB and taking it to his house if we can't play it together on one TV.

2 player splitscreen, so yes.

Has anyone mentioned King of Fighters 2002: Unlimited Match yet? Many feel it's the greatest KOF ever, but it's certainly one of the best fighters on XBLA, hands-down.

Early reports indicate the netcode is decent and utilizes roll-back.
