Icon won't delete from Win 7 Games Explorer

So I installed a game that put an icon on my desktop, I decided to drop the icon into the games explorer. The icon doesn't launch anything and I can't delete it. I can't even right click it like I can other icons. I tried going into the registry and the icon isn't even listed under the games explorer section. How can I get rid of it?

Maybe try rebuilding the icon cache?

I would be so happy if the GE worked. It's such a good idea on theory.
