I was there March of 2009. Last time I was there I was like 8 or so, which meant I didn't really remember details but I could tell the museum hadn't been updated since then. While nominally still cool it desperately needs to be updated.

there's can be no doubt about what we learn from earth observation. coupled with the work from our most recent solar laboratories and telescope platforms, the technology we're advancing will make the earth a safer place to live in so many ways. and using that knowledge in conjunction with the search for extrasolar planets will be of the most benefit as we come to the point that we can affect the global climate in positive ways.

I know this is late, but did I ever tell you about the guy on my Facebook who says he's handled an actual piece of Noah's ark? The local Creationist museum wanted his father's help doing something to it for analyzing or some such shit, to see if it's the real deal, and they all think it is. Or something, I don't know.
