I kind of just drew it for me to get it out of my system. A girl visited me this weekend and she flew out yesterday...and this is how I felt.

Also since I haven't drawn anything on tablet in forever it was a good exercise.

...OMG dude...maybe it has to happen to you..cause i've been there, and i knew EXACTLY the second i saw it what was going on, and i thought, "i know that feeling"

For this comic, not much you can do to avoid the copy/paste effect, you could have redrawn it three times, but I don't think it would have necessarily made much of a difference. Nice clean linework!! I think different thicknesses in the lines would benefit this strip greatly. You've got essentially 3 layers of outside/background, window/middleground, and character/foreground, yet the line weight doesn't seem to follow any form or function of thickness.

Perhaps instead of having the same posture in all three panels to break the copy/pasteyness, you could have accentuated the sigh with a suitable pose. Someone who sighs would be a bit more slouchy methinks.

Thanks EWA, I was totally thinking about varying up the line weight at the beginning, then for some reason I forgot along the way.

And yeah I guess a slouch or perhaps head looking down would have made for better body language in that last panel.

Sometimes I wish I could spend the time to do more, but the last ones I did were assignments like, 3 years ago, and I don't have the patience for that shit haha.
