So after the guy stole our tip box with a whopping $2 in it yesterday morning, I made this poster:

We stuck them up on the doors, the donut cases, all over the store basically. Him being a regular, we were sure he'd be back, and we weren't disappointed. He came in this morning, saw the posters, and started apologizing, begging us not to bar him from the store, he gave the $2 back, said he was sorry, on and on about it. It was hilarious. So we took the posters down and told him he could still come in.

Someone nabbed the tipjar at my old place of work while my boyfriend was working, so he called the cops. The cops caught the guy an hour or so later in a car he had stolen, my boyfriend identified him from a copcar driveby, and the guy is now in prison for a long time, it was his third strike.

The tipjar had about $1.50 in it.
