    Snipers are seen as annoying because they kill you without you being able to do anything, whereas with spies you can turn around and catch them. It's a bit silly but I can understand. Most of my interactions with snipers are ubering them for giggles, though.

    Yeah, basically what Wiet and Loki said. Snipers are detached from their kills more than any other class, and people resent being capped from half a mile away while embroiled in combat with half a dozen other enemies all up in their face

    And then the camera zooms away to focus on some bastard they didn't even know was there, leaving them unaware of the state of the people they were actually fighting

    But what you need to do is ignore those people and kill them over and over again!
