    The akira movie sucked, plotwise. It had good visuals though.

    The moment it veered off from the comic is when it went to total shit.

    The akira movie is what? 4 volumes of the comic? At best?


    You could tell it was stagnant when it had 30 minutes left to get through eight volumes.

    I should try to watch Akira again to see if I like it.

    The problem with any Japatoon that is translated from something as epic as AKIRA or, say Ghost in the Shell, is that whatever comes out in the theater is a really good beginning to something.

    And then it is over.
