Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it,
follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given

I changed the pitch so big hits sound like a big gong being hit.
Please, call me ebo. I generally play TF2, Dungeon Defenders, Blood Bowl, and someday DotA 2.
Everyone loves to be the guy who can OHKO an enemy, played correctly. There's this aura of badassery inherent in being able to drop your target in one shot. Plus, the Spy is played up as the intellectual choice-- in the words of the developer commentary, the class designed to outsmart its opponents. That both classes are squishy as hell and the Spy especially is prone to being put into unlivable situations by mostly uncontrollable factors is lost on these people. And, also, that those classes have severe diminishing returns. One Spy is fine, two is workable, three is a recipe for everyone going Pyro and catching all of your Spies at once. Ditto for Snipers. One good Sniper cuts your enemy team size by several men. Two Snipers will start stepping on each other's toes for safe shooting opportunities. Three Snipers means you have very little standing between them and the enemy, resulting in mostly dead Snipers.
To put it simply, everyone wants to be the Designated Killer.

I used to have a script that remapped the dingaling sound to "oo what you say" for the Sniper and the Sniper only, but I wound up discarding it when I discovered that the PA servers' sv_pure settings negated it.
Also, I'm a terrible person and enjoy being an asshole with the Dead Ringer.
But the demo has sticky traps that can kill any number of people in one mouse click (my personal record is 10, so much blood!) and he can fly among his million other talents.
Like, I get what your saying and its true for pretty much all shooters, I just don't understand why people gotta be that way. If you are on your game as demo you can do ALL THINGS and be all but unstoppable. Like a soldier but more ridiculous. If your playing good at sniper you can SHOOT SOME DUDES. Maybe the power classes just need some better PR.
Buckle up!
Drum roll please...
The logo in this is a one time deal just to show what could be done with it. What do you think of the name?
I am...aroused. :winky:

You guys are terrible. Stoneyridge sounds like a much more hospitable place than Stoneridge. And it's got a nice ring to it.

Go Saharan Spy with the DR. Everyone will hate you forever.
"Did I kill him did I kill him! Oh he's behind me and now I'm dead"
I was pissing off Gottabegaming so hard when he was trying that on me. "Ebo can turn around instantly!"

Once I lost connection to Steam and had to use the invisibility watch, it was dreadful.
That's why you only do it occasionally. Let them gain a false sense of security.
If you're in the mood for totally-legal griefing, equip the Loch n'Load (for a bit of extra fire resistance, fat lot of good it'll do you), the Sticky Jumper, and the Ullapool Caber on a nice, blockish map like KOTH_Harvest. Exit your spawn, double or triple sticky jump to the enemy spawn, set up your exit stickies if you prefer, and wait just behind the door. Caber the first unlucky sap to come by. Sticky jump back to your own base, refresh your Caber, and repeat.
Oh god, it was so frustrating to deal with. But oddly hilarious.
Then our team set up a sentry near spawn. Put an end to it right quick.
