My roommate in college picked up a coconut from the grocery store once, on a whim. We spent a good 40 minutes trying to open the fucker, and eventually used a hacksaw to do so.
It was surprisingly amazingly good.
He's planning ahead should he get ever become ship wrecked.
Only if he brings a fucking hacksaw or some power tools.
I have no idea how you would open one otherwise.
That does sound like something he would do though.
Also, you satans did an amazing job this year from what I can tell. Rock on!

you just gotta smack it with something hard all around the equator. After one or two laps, the little fissures will connect and it'll be open before you know it.
I have absorbed this knowledge, and will sleep soundly tonight. Secure in the fact that, should I ever become stranded on a tropical island laden with coconuts, I will not starve.
Also, my Satan did hella good. I watched Coraline last night and it was good. A little creepy, but good. I can see why it was paired with Nightmare before Christmas now.
Keika has already started the Erikson book, and says it too is good. I picked up Black Company first, and I didn't put it down until almost 1am last night. I like the concept, which is sort of Band of Brothers meets LOTR.
Sticks I'm glad you liked everything because it was me! I am the guilty party.
I'm also guilty of forgetting to put my forum name anywhere and I'm curious if any of that stuff was gift-wrapped because I goram paid for it to be. Also there should've been a note with each of the bits explaining things or just giving general well-wishes and Merry Christmaseses.
Oh well, I'm glad it all got to you and that you're already enjoying them. Merry Christmas man, it's always fun to watch people unwrap things so good job on the gift post!
Cheers

If coconuts are so hard why don't you hit it with another coconut.
I mean if there is one there is probablyl another around somewhere.
bwanie can you hurry up and have your stuff delivered
every day that passes makes my heart lurch in fear that it won't get there at all

well that and they were both made by the same director
Ok satan, I got my hair cut to where I can pull off the Justin Bieber look. All I need now is a flatbill baseball hat. Consider this a wishlist addition.

Sorry, I didn't include that bit in the photos. The Nightmare before Christmas blu-ray was wrapped, but none of the others were. Maybe a mix up on their end?
After a bit of checking, the packing slip amazon included had your well-wishes listed for each of the items.

Huh, I never even considered that. I always associate Nightmare with Tim Burton and no one else.
Henry Selick apparently did Monkeybone and James and the Giant Peach as well.
edit part 2: if I had bothered to read the front of my Coraline blu-ray, I would have seen quite clearly "From the Director of 'The Nightmare Before Christmas'. Good job me.
Venture brothers season 4, Alien vs predator and a candy stick? My my, it is a very merry christmas indeed!
Thanks a bunch Sweeney Tom!
I would have taken pictures of the ceremonial gift unwrapping, but my camera just broke So in lieu of pictures, here is an artistic representation of my excitement
"Hey Tasty, could you box up those cookies and goodies that Zip sent and he is goi- Hey, Hey, what have we said about threatening to cut my penis off in front of Hen- well fine, if that's the way you think it should b- Yes ok, yes, yes, yes, yes dear"

I guess he is just an all around creepy duder.

I'm checking the status on my gift hourly in case of fresh updates, but nope, still on schedule for Friday apparently. Oh. Well!
Friday is also the deadline for a big project for my company so it's a pretty tense week.
It did have a similar vibe that I get from watching his much better movies though.
Can't really explain it better than that because I only saw Monkeybone once, and it was a long time ago.
