Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!
I've recently finished the, 'Conquerer' series by Conn Iggulden and it's really sparked an interest for me in the history of the mongolian empire. I was wondering if anyone in H/A is familiar with more books relating to this; either straight non-fiction or dramatised non-fiction.
I went through a little phase a few years back when I started reading books on historical topics/subjects I'd been interested.
One of the books I bought was Genghis Khan and the Making of the Modern World, a really good read, 500 or so pages, well written and not textbookish at all. Worth getting it.
