Already out in Japan it looks like a 4 player Monster Hunter Clone but apparently Battle screens are seperate and there are QTE's.

What the Hell? How does that work exactly?

    Monster Hunter does it better?

    This just mostly looks silly.

    They've got a demo on the Japanese PSN; yeah, you pretty much run around on the level, and when you come in contact with monsters it kicks into the battle screen to fight. Think more Crisis Core/traditional Final Fantasy than Monster Hunter in that sense. When you beat up a monster enough a QTE starts, from a brief play. And it was basically a "Press Circle" sort of thing with some pretty big window of opportunity. But I was only fighting the trash mobs, don't know how elaborate the QTE gets in bigger fights.

    The demo might not be representative of the final product, but yeah. Kind of underwhelmed. Still, might be worth keeping an eye on I guess. Got all 8s from Famitsu, it seems. I guess you could lump God Eater into this category as well. I dunno, kind of underwhelmed by that one too. YMMV.

    The game looks downright boring, but that second trailer is gold.
